{"id":3147,"date":"2018-11-09T10:49:48","date_gmt":"2018-11-09T10:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pigmea.es\/active-ham-funda-de-jamon-con-control-antibacteriano\/"},"modified":"2018-11-09T11:14:12","modified_gmt":"2018-11-09T11:14:12","slug":"active-ham-ham-cover-with-antibacterial-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pigmea.es\/en\/active-ham-ham-cover-with-antibacterial-control\/","title":{"rendered":"Active Ham"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\"  style='background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px;'><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row \"><div  class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion_builder_column_1_1 fusion-builder-column-0 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last 1_1\"  style='margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;'><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\" style=\"padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;\"   data-bg-url=\"\"><div class=\"fusion-text\"><h2>Ham cover with antibacterial control<\/h2>\n<p>The project \u201cActive Ham: development of ham cover with antibacterial control made of plastic non woven material\u201d has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the \u201cOperational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020\u201d and the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, through the Spanish Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).<\/p>\n<p>The objective of this innovative research project is the development of a new active packaging system which helps to preserve and prolong the optimum conditions of the Spanish cured ham during its consumption cycle, thanks to the incorporation of a series of antioxidant and\/or antimicrobial agents in the packaging material (polypropylene non woven).<br \/>\nHam&#8217;s shelf life after the first slicing is one of the main concerns of ham carvers. This research line has focussed in the study of the morphological design of the packaging material (polypropylene non woven) and the treatment applied to it.
